2004 Wolverines PeeWee A - Give Back Day
The Toronto Wolverines Peewee A Team were proud participants of the CIBC RUN FOR THE CURE on Sunday September 2nd at Boyd Conservation Park. In support of this event, the kids raised over $600 for Breast Cancer Research. By participating in such events such as the CIBC Walk for the Cure, our players had the opportunity to learn life lessons about giving back to the community and the importance of hope to helps us through life’s challenges. These lessons were reinforced by the guest speakers at the opening ceremony who were inspiring to all participants. Our team was so proud to be part of something important and participate in the 5km run. Some were so inspired, they completed it twice!
We, as a team will continue to take on such opportunities where life lessons can be learned both on the ice and off the ice.
